Recipe for the Maple Syrup Lemon Detox:

  • 2 tablespoons organic, pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, not from concentrate
  • 8 ounces purified water
  • pinch cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
Mix all ingredients in a container.

Drink at least 6 - 10 mixtures per day.



What to expect during and after the cleanse:

  • Most important: If you feel your blood sugar dropping (light-headedness, strong hunger) you either haven't been drinking enough of the liquid mixture, or you need to add a little more maple syrup to it.

    This will stop your blood sugar from dropping and alleviate any symptoms. You will be able to sustain on the maple syrup lemon detox for several days if the mixture is correct and you listen to your body.

  • You may feel tired due to your body adjusting to the new intake of calories and energy source. Increase your consumption to boost your energy.
